War Zone In Downtown Toronto

Just over the weekend the downtown core of Toronto turned into a war zone. With thousands of Protesters covering the streets and police trying to stand their ground things just got out of control. As most of the Canadians look at this, thinking, “ This is not Canada.” The demonstrators were holding signs, singing, dancing, and some resulting in arrests, the once calm city turned into a city filled with fear. There were not only police cars on fire but also stores getting vandalized, and many of the people turned violent resulting to a city of war.
As for me, a Torontonian, I am surprised how the largest Canadian city that is known to be safe turns into a city of a nightmare. I am happy that I spent the weekend up north and away from much of it.
As you can see from the below, Toronto was not the typical Canadian city.
